It is the size most of our customers order: enough room for six to ten lines of work and a total, and small enough to live in a van door or a coat pocket. Plumbers, electricians, landscapers, cleaners and mobile traders of every kind use A5 books for invoices written on the spot. Duplicate or triplicate Choose two part books, an original and one copy with 100 sets per book, or three part books, an original and two copies with 50 sets per book. Printed with your details Each book is printed in black ink on NCR carbonless paper with your name, logo, address, phone, email and VAT number, and the headings and boxes your invoices need. Upload artwork or choose the free design service and tell us what to include. A proof is emailed before anything is printed. Binding, perforation and numbering Manilla cover, cardboard back, wrap around writing shield and a black taped spine. Every sheet perforated along the top or the left edge, whichever you choose. Sequential numbering included: give us the starting number, or choose plain. Fitting the layout to A5 Six to ten lines is the sweet spot. Keep the header compact, your logo and details across the top 35mm, then a description column with quantity and amount, a total box, and one line at the foot for payment details. If you regularly need more lines, step up to A4 rather than shrinking the writing. Turnaround, delivery and VAT Printed and dispatched in 3 to 4 working days after you approve the proof. It takes a full invoice for most jobs without being a full sheet to carry, file or post. It fits a van door pocket, a clipboard and a standard C5 envelope. ### How many lines fit on an A5 invoice? Six to ten item lines with the header, a total and a line for bank details. If you need more most of the time, A4 is the better size. ### Duplicate or triplicate for A5? Duplicate, unless a third copy has a home. Two part books hold 100 sets, three part books 50 sets, and both are chosen on this page. ### Can the perforation be at the top? Yes. Choose top or left when you order. Top perforation suits a portrait form; left suits anyone who files the copies in a ring binder. ### How soon can I have them?
