Where to Buy Duplicate NCR Books in Ireland
You can buy duplicate NCR books for business use in Ireland directly from DiscoverPrint. We print personalised duplicate invoice books in A4, A5, A6 and DL sizes, with 100 sets per book, sequential numbering, your logo and company details, plus free design and free delivery across Ireland on every order.
If you’re a plumber, electrician, market trader, café owner or sole trader who hands a customer a paper copy and keeps one for the books, a duplicate NCR book is exactly the format you want. Below is what they are, what’s included when you order from us, and how to choose the right size and quantity.
What is a duplicate NCR book?
A duplicate NCR book is a bound pad with two-part carbonless paper. You write on the top sheet, and the writing transfers automatically to the second sheet underneath. The customer keeps one, you keep the other.
The “NCR” stands for “No Carbon Required”. For more on how the paper actually works, see our explainer on what NCR printing is and a short history of NCR paper.
Most Irish businesses use duplicate NCR books for one of three things: invoices, receipts or job dockets. We also offer triplicate (3-part) books with 50 sets per book if you need an extra copy for an accountant, warehouse or third party.
Why buy duplicate NCR books from DiscoverPrint?
Our personalised invoice books are custom-printed with your design in black ink using Litho printing. They’re the most secure version in our NCR product range because they’re bound into a proper book format.
Here’s what every order includes:
100 sets per book. Duplicate books come with 100 top copies and 100 bottom copies per book. (Triplicate books contain 50 sets.)
Sequential numbering as standard. The price includes sequential numbering. Just tell us the starting number at the time of order, and where on the page you want it (commonly in front of “Invoice” or “No”). Prefer no numbers? Pick the “without numbering” option.
Your logo and details printed throughout. Each page is printed with your company logo and business details.
Perforation on every sheet. Each page features a perforation strip near the spine, so you can either tear pages out cleanly or leave them in the book for your records. You choose top-perforated or left-perforated when you order.
Solid binding for daily use. Every book comes with a manilla cover, cardboard back, wrap-around writing shield and black spine tape as standard. Built to be carried in a van, a market stall or a back office.
Free design service. If you don’t have artwork, we’ll design the book for you at no extra cost.
Free delivery across Ireland. Every order ships free, anywhere in Ireland.

What size duplicate NCR book should you order?
These are the four standard sizes we print:
A4: 210 × 297 mm. Standard printing paper size. Best for jobs with lots of line items, like detailed quotes, itemised invoices or job dockets.
A5: 148 × 210 mm. Half of A4. The most popular size for Irish SMEs. Big enough for a full invoice, small enough to handle on the go.
A6: 105 × 148 mm. A quarter of A4 (or half of A5). Pocket-friendly. Great for handwritten receipts and mobile use.
DL: 99 × 210 mm. A third of A4. Long and narrow. Used for slim docket layouts and certain receipt formats.
If you need a custom or extra-large NCR book outside these sizes, get in touch and we’ll quote it.
How much do duplicate NCR books cost?
Pricing depends on size, quantity and whether you choose duplicate or triplicate. We offer order quantities of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 100 books at a time, so the per-unit price drops as you order more.
For a current price, visit the personalised invoice books page, pick your size, type and quantity, and you’ll see the exact total before checkout. Free design and free delivery are already included.
VAT in Ireland on print is 23%, so always check whether a quoted price is “ex VAT” or “inc VAT” when comparing suppliers.
Duplicate or triplicate, which do you need?
Use duplicate (2-part) if one copy goes to the customer and one stays with you. This covers most invoicing and receipt situations. You get 100 sets per book.
Use triplicate (3-part) if you also need a copy for an accountant, an office, a warehouse or a delivery partner. Builders, wholesalers and courier companies usually go for triplicate. You get 50 sets per book.
Plenty of our customers order both, duplicate books for customer-facing receipts and triplicate books for internal job dockets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are duplicate NCR books legal for VAT invoices in Ireland?
Yes. Handwritten NCR invoices are accepted by Revenue as long as they include all required details: your business name and address, VAT number, invoice number, date, customer details, description of goods or services, and the VAT amount. Sequential numbering is mandatory, which is why our duplicate books include it as standard.
How many sets are in a duplicate NCR book from DiscoverPrint?
Every duplicate (2-part) book contains 100 sets, so 100 top copies and 100 bottom copies. Triplicate (3-part) books contain 50 sets per book, with 50 top, 50 middle and 50 bottom copies. This is double the volume of many generic NCR books on the market.
Is delivery free for NCR book orders in Ireland?
Yes. We offer free delivery across Ireland on all NCR book orders. There’s no minimum order value and no hidden shipping fee at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay before VAT.
Can I get my logo and company details printed on a duplicate NCR book?
Yes, that’s the whole point of a personalised book. Your logo and company details are printed on every page in black ink using Litho printing. If you don’t have artwork, you can use our free design service when placing the order.
What size NCR book should I order?
A5 (148 × 210 mm) is the most popular size for general invoicing in Ireland. A6 (105 × 148 mm) suits handwritten receipts and pocket use. A4 (210 × 297 mm) suits detailed dockets and itemised invoices. DL (99 × 210 mm) is used for narrower receipt layouts. If unsure, A5 is the safe default.
