Product overview
What a popup banner is
A popup banner is a roller banner: the print is fixed in a cassette at the base, pulls up on a telescopic pole and hooks at the top, and the whole thing goes back in its carry case in under a minute. It is the display most people bring to a trade show, a conference stand, a shop entrance or a reception, because it needs no wall, no fixings and no help to put up.
Three to choose from
- Standard, 800mm x 2000mm: the usual event banner on a standard cassette.
- Premium, 800mm x 2000mm: the same print on a heavier stand with a wider base, for a banner that is up for weeks at a time or travels often.
- Extra wide, 1200mm x 2000mm: half as wide again, for a stand that needs to be read across a hall.
For a counter or a table, the desktop roller banners in A4 and A3 do the same job at a small size. To be read from both directions in a walkway, see the double sided roller banners.
Print and stand
Printed in full colour on banner material with a stand, pole and carry case included, one of each per banner. Order one banner or up to five at a time; the price per banner is in the table above.
Artwork or design
Supply a print ready PDF and we check it before printing. If you would rather we laid it out, choose the design option at €30.00 per design, send your logo, wording and any pictures, and we send a proof to approve. Keep the message in the top two thirds of the banner: that is the part seen over a table or a crowd.
Turnaround, delivery and VAT
Banners are normally printed and dispatched within 48 hours of the file being approved. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland, north and south, on every order. Prices are shown ex VAT; VAT at 23% is added at the checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a popup banner the same as a roller banner or a pull up banner?
Yes. Popup, pull up, roll up and roller banner all describe the same thing: a print in a cassette that pulls up on a pole. This page is that product.
What is the difference between standard and premium?
The print is the same. The premium stand is heavier with a wider base, so it stands steadier and lasts longer if the banner is up for weeks or travels to many events.
Is the stand included in the price?
Yes. Every banner comes with its cassette stand, pole and a carry case. The price is for the complete banner, not the print alone.
Is design free on banners?
No. Design on banners is an option at €30.00 per design, chosen on this page. Supplying your own print ready file costs nothing extra.
How quickly can I have a banner?
Normally within 48 hours of the file being approved, plus courier time. Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland.
Can I change the print later and keep the stand?
The print is fixed in the cassette, so a new message means a new banner. For a message that changes often, order two banners and swap them.
No reviews yet. Reviews are written by customers after delivery, and approved before they appear.
A print ready PDF at the full banner size, or at half size at 300dpi, with 3mm bleed. Keep the important content in the top two thirds: the bottom 200mm curls towards the cassette and is the part people see least. Use CMYK colours and embed or outline fonts. Files up to 50 MB upload on this page; larger files can be emailed to sales@discoverprint.ie with your order number. Choose the design option if you would rather we set the banner out from your logo and wording; it is €30.00 per design and includes a proof.

What should a delivery note include?
A delivery note travels with the goods and confirms what was sent. It is not an invoice, but it is part of your sales records and often the document that gets an invoice paid. This guide covers what a delivery note should show, how many copies you need, and when a pad works better than a book.
