Yes, you can order custom printed duplicate NCR books with your company logo, and it is one of the most common print jobs we do for Irish small businesses. You upload your logo and details (or we design the layout for you free of charge), choose your size and quantity, and the books arrive printed, numbered, perforated and bound. What is a custom printed duplicate NCR book?
A duplicate NCR book is a 2 part carbonless book that creates an instant copy when you write on the top sheet. The top page is white and the bottom page is yellow. You hand the white original to your customer and keep the yellow copy in the book for your records.
“Custom printed” means the book is branded with your business. That includes your logo, business name, address, VAT number, contact details, line items, totals, signature boxes and any wording you need. Nothing generic. Everything matches how your business actually operates.
Each book contains 100 sets (so 100 white top sheets and 100 yellow copies, 200 sheets in total). Pages are perforated as standard, so you can tear out the original cleanly or leave it in the book if you prefer.
Which sizes can I order?
Custom duplicate NCR books are available in four standard sizes:
- A4 (210 × 297 mm) for detailed invoices with multiple line items
- A5 (148 × 210 mm), the most popular size for general invoices and receipts
- A6 (105 × 148 mm) for compact dockets and quick receipts
- DL (99 × 210 mm), a long narrow format that fits neatly into pockets and tills

What can I put on the cover and pages?
The cover and the inside pages are fully customisable. Most Irish businesses include the following:
- Company logo (we recommend artwork at 300 DPI)
- Business name and trading name
- Full address and Eircode
- Phone, email and website
- VAT number, where registered
- Sequential numbering, usually beside the word “Invoice” or “No”
- Line item table with description, quantity, unit price, VAT and total
- Payment terms, IBAN and a signature line
If you do not have artwork, you can use the free design service. Send your logo and details by email and we will lay the book out for you, then send a proof to approve before printing. There is no extra charge for this.
How does sequential numbering work?
Sequential numbering means each set in the book has a unique reference number that increases by one (for example 0001, 0002, 0003). This is essential for invoice books in Ireland because Revenue requires invoices to be uniquely numbered.
You tell us the starting number when you place the order. If your last book ended at 1000, we will start the new book at 1001 so your records stay clean. Sequential numbering is included in the price, so there is no add on cost for it.
If you do not need numbering (for example, on a price quote book or job sheet), you can switch it off at the point of order.
Does the logo print in colour?
Yes. Custom NCR books are printed in full colour on the top sheet, so your logo, brand colours and any photography reproduce sharply at 300 DPI. The yellow carbon copy underneath shows the writing only, not the printed artwork in colour. That is normal for all NCR carbonless paper, regardless of who prints it.

How do I place the order?
The process on the personalised invoice books page is straightforward:
- Choose your book size (A6, DL, A5 or A4).
- Choose 2 Part for a duplicate book.
- Pick your quantity (5, 10, 25, 50 or up to 100 books).
- Turn sequential numbering on or off, and tell us the starting number.
- Choose top or left perforation.
- Upload your design, or pick the free design service and email your logo to sales@discoverprint.ie.
You will get a digital proof to approve before anything is printed. Once approved, your books are produced and shipped with free delivery anywhere in Ireland.

What is the difference between duplicate and triplicate NCR books?
A duplicate book is 2 part: one white original and one yellow carbon copy per set, with 100 sets per book. A triplicate book is 3 part: white, yellow and pink, with 50 sets per book. Choose duplicate if you only need one copy for your records, and triplicate if you also need to give a copy to a third party such as a driver or accounts team.
Can I reorder the same book later with the same numbering sequence?
Yes. We keep your design on file, so when you reorder we just continue the numbering from where the last book finished. Just mention your previous order number when you reorder and we will pick up the sequence automatically.
Do I need to supply print ready artwork?
No. You can supply print ready artwork if you have it (PDF at 300 DPI with 3 mm bleed is ideal), or you can use the free design service. Email your logo and the details you want included to sales@discoverprint.ie and the team will design the book for you at no extra cost.
