    Printing Instructions for C5 Envelopes

    1. Printing Method:

    • Full-color digital over-printing.
    • Supply artwork as a press-ready PDF, actual size 229mm x 162mm.
    • No registration marks required.

    2. Artwork Preparation:

    • Maintain a 5mm clear zone around edges.
    • “Bleed to Edge” option available at an additional cost.
    • Artwork should be CMYK (no Grayscale or RGB) to avoid color shifts. Convert any Pantone colors to CMYK.
    • Convert all fonts to paths/outlines before creating the PDF.
    • Avoid text smaller than 5pt and serif fonts under 6pt.
    • Printing cannot occur on envelope edges or creases; over-printing only.
    • Size for PDF: actual size (NO crop or registration marks), canvas size of 229 x 162 mm.

    3. Envelope Specifications:

    • Standard Envelope (PEEL & SEAL – 120gsm P&S White):
      • Flap depth: 32mm on the reverse.
      • Top, long-edge wallet style.
      • Flaps default to DOWN position.
      • Window option: 90mm x 45mm, positioned 56mm from the top edge, 18mm from the left edge, and 61mm from the base edge.
    • Optional Envelope (SELF-SEAL – 100gsm S/S White Wallet):
      • Flap depth: 28mm on the reverse.
      • Top, long-edge wallet style.
      • Flaps default to DOWN position.
      • Window option: 90mm x 45mm, positioned 20mm from the left edge and 57mm from the top edge.
    • Optional Machinable Envelope (C5+ 90gsm Gummed Mailing Machinable White Wallet):
      • Flap depth: 30mm (plain) or 45mm (window) on the reverse.
      • Top, long-edge wallet style.
      • Flaps default to DOWN position.
      • Window option: 100mm x 45mm, positioned 57mm from the top edge, 18mm from the left edge, and 60mm from the base edge.
      • Maintain a minimum 4mm clear zone around the window area.

    4. Bleed Options:

    • Standard (No Bleed Required):
      • Keep all text and important images at least 5mm away from canvas edges.
    • Optional (Bleed to Edges):
      • Artwork can extend to canvas edges, but ensure overall ink coverage is around 30%.
      • Supply PDF as 229 x 162 mm with no crop marks or registration marks.
