Business Cards Overview

Size: 85mm X 55mm – Most used business card size in Ireland & Uk.  We print both landscape and portrait business cards. We also print 90x50mm cards.

Paper: 400gsm silk paper, 300gsm uncoated paper & 300gsm brown card paper.

Lamination: Option to print with or without matt lamination. Add matt lamination for better strength and finish. 

Turnaround: It takes 2-3 working days to print and dispatch after artwork approval. 

Delivery: Delivery is free for orders over €30. We deliver with GLS / DPD courier ( next day delivery )

Imp Things to remember while Designing 

Customers need to upload the design in pdf file with 3mm bleed. Size with 3mm bleed will be 91mm X 61mm. Please supply the design in CMYK ( else it will be converted to CMYK before printing ).

To ensure your text looks the best it can be, we ask that all text is kept to a minimum of 7pts to ensure that when it prints it looks legible.

Please supply the design in 300DPI resolution. If you are not sure about it, please send us an email to sales@discoverprint.ie and our team will be happy to assist with your business cards design setup. 

While designing the cards, please keep important text at least 5 mm apart from edges.

How to Order Business cards Online

Order business cards online with us. It’s simple and easy.

1. Select the quantity you need, lamination and sides for your order. System will show you the final prices on the page ( ex vat ) & Delivery.

2. Upload your design file using the upload option on the page. Please upload the design files in good quality pdf in size 85mm x 55mm with 3mm bleed. If you are not familiar with these, upload the files you have and our designer will make these print ready and will send to you over email for approval before sending to print.

3. Now click “Add to Order” to add the order to you cart, Move to checkout page and fill Billing and delivery details for the order.

4. Use credit cards/ debits cards or Paypal to complete the order. Once payment is done, you will get a confirmation email along with order details.

5. Our team will check the order and design files. If there is an issue with design files, we will contact you else we will process the order.

6. It takes 2-3 days to print and dispatch the order. We use DPD courier to deliver the cards with Next day delivery across Ireland.

Frequently Asked Questions

The most common and most used size in Ireland is 85mm X 55mm and that is the only size we print at this stage. 

If you do not have a design, then either you create it online using canva ( free of cost ) or our professional designer can create a design for you at a small extra cost of €10 for business cards. Simply email us to sales@discoverprint.ie before placing order and our team will take it from there. 

There is no hidden cost. All the prices shown here are ex 23% VAT. Delivery is free for order over €30 and a cost of €6 for order below €30.  

We use 400gsm silk paper for our business cards print and also offer matt lamination on all orders. 

500 Business cards, both sides with matt lamination is our most selling product. 

Once we received your order, our team will check for the size and quality of the design file. If we find any issue, we will contact you via email. If small fixes are needed, we will do it for free, else we will contact you.
