A receipt book in your colours
This is the same carbonless book as our invoice books with one difference: it is printed in full colour. Your logo prints as it appears on your van and your signage, and the form can use a coloured band, a tint behind the total or coloured headings. If black ink is all you need, the personalised invoice books are quicker and cost less.
Receipts, invoices, or both
The layout is yours. Most customers use these as receipt books, with a line for the amount received, how it was paid and a signature, but the same book can be an invoice, a booking confirmation, a deposit receipt or a membership receipt. Tell us what the form is for and we lay it out to suit.
Duplicate or triplicate, four sizes
- Two part books, an original and one copy, 100 sets per book.
- Three part books, an original and two copies, 50 sets per book.
- A4 (210mm x 297mm), A5 (148mm x 210mm), A6 (105mm x 148mm) or DL (99mm x 210mm).
Made to be written on
Manilla cover, cardboard back, a wrap around writing shield so the set beneath stays clean, and a black taped spine. Every sheet is perforated along the top or the left edge. Sequential numbering is included on every part of every set; give us the starting number, or choose plain.
Design, proof, turnaround and delivery
Send your artwork, ideally a PDF with your logo as a vector, or choose the free design service and tell us the colours and details to use. A proof is emailed and nothing prints until you approve it. Colour books take longer on press than black: they are printed and dispatched in 8 to 9 working days after approval. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland, north and south, on every order. Prices are shown ex VAT and VAT at 23% is added at the checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a receipt book and an invoice book?
The form. A receipt records money received, an invoice asks for it. Both are made the same way; this product is printed in full colour, and the invoice books in black ink. Either can be laid out as a receipt or an invoice.
Why do colour books take 8 to 9 working days?
Full colour NCR is printed on a different press with a longer schedule than black ink. If you need books sooner, the black ink invoice books are dispatched in 3 to 4 working days.
Will the colours match my logo?
Send the logo in its original colours, or the Pantone or CMYK values, and the proof shows how it will print. NCR paper is slightly off white, so very pale tints print lighter than on screen.
Can the copies be a different colour paper?
The printing is in colour; the paper is the NCR set. Tell us in the notes if you want each part labelled, for example Customer and Office, and the proof will show it.
Are receipt books numbered?
Yes, in sequence on every part, and it is included in the price. Give us the starting number or choose the plain option.
Is delivery free?
Yes, anywhere in Ireland, north and south, on every order. Books are dispatched 8 to 9 working days after you approve the proof.

A print ready PDF is best. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, PNG and DOCX files up to 50 MB through the upload box on this page; anything larger can be emailed to sales@discoverprint.ie with your order number.
- Leave 20mm clear along the binding edge (the top or the left, whichever you chose for the perforation). Nothing printed there survives the tear off.
- Keep text and logos at least 5mm from the other three edges.
- Supply artwork at 300dpi. Logos as vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) print sharpest, and for a colour book send the logo in its proper colours or tell us the Pantone or CMYK values so the print matches your other material.
- No artwork? Choose the free design option and tell us what to include: your logo, address, phone, email, VAT number and bank details are the usual set. Our designer sets it out and emails a proof.
Nothing is printed until you approve the proof, whether you sent the artwork or we drew it.
