The DL flyer

DL is 99mm x 210mm, a third of an A4 sheet. It is the flyer that fits a DL envelope, a letterbox and a leaflet rack without folding. Takeaways, estate agents, salons and anyone posting a price list or an offer choose DL for door drops and mailings.

Paper and sides

Choose 130gsm gloss, the standard leaflet weight that folds and posts easily, or 170gsm gloss, which is stiffer in the hand and reads as better quality on a counter or a table. Print one side or both. Double sided at 170gsm is the usual choice for a menu or a price list; single sided at 130gsm is the usual choice for a door drop.

Quantities

From 1,000 copies up to 100,000, with the price per thousand falling as the quantity rises. The full price table is above; choose your paper, sides and turnaround and the price updates. Other sizes are on the flyers page: DL, A5, A4 and A3.

Getting the design right at DL

DL is tall and narrow, so run the content down the sheet: a headline, one picture, three or four points and your contact details at the foot. One column, not two. A DL flyer in a rack shows only its top 60mm, so put the headline there.

Artwork

Supply a print ready PDF at 300dpi with 3mm bleed on every edge, in CMYK. We check bleed, resolution and size on every file and tell you before printing if anything needs changing. There is no design service on flyers; if you need artwork made, ask through the bespoke quotation form and we will quote for it.

Turnaround, delivery and VAT

Choose 3 or 4 working days when you order. Orders approved before 2pm start that working day. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland, north and south, on every order. Prices are shown ex VAT. Flyers are advertising matter, so VAT is added at the checkout at 13.5% rather than 23%.
