Five ways a printed notepad earns its place on a desk
Notepads are the quietest thing in a print order and often the hardest working. A pad left on a desk gets picked up every day until it runs out, and every sheet torn off it carries your name to wherever it ends up.
1. As a leave behind after a meeting
A business card goes in a drawer. A pad goes on the desk, in reach, and stays there for weeks. If you sell anything with a long decision behind it, being the name someone writes their shopping list on is not a small thing.
2. As a working form
Print the pad as a form rather than blank paper: a call log, a site check, a delivery docket, a quotation sheet. A printed form means the same information gets collected every time and nobody has to remember what to ask.
3. As a duplicate record

4. As counter stationery

What to print on one
Keep it light. Logo, phone number, website and email across the top or along the bottom, in your own colours, and leave the middle empty for writing. A pad covered in marketing is a pad nobody writes on. If it is a form, print the boxes and label them clearly, and leave more room than you think each answer needs.
