The A6 invoice book
A6 is 105mm x 148mm, a quarter of an A4 sheet. It is a pocket book for short receipts and cash sales: a line or two, a total and a signature. Market stalls, taxi and delivery drivers, door to door sales, clubs taking subscriptions and anyone handing over a receipt on the spot choose A6.
Duplicate or triplicate
Choose two part books, an original and one copy with 100 sets per book, or three part books, an original and two copies with 50 sets per book. Printed with your details
Each book is printed in black ink on NCR carbonless paper with your name, logo, address, phone, email and VAT number, and the headings and boxes your invoices need. Upload artwork or choose the free design service and tell us what to include. A proof is emailed before anything is printed.
Binding, perforation and numbering
- Manilla cover, cardboard back, wrap around writing shield and a black taped spine.
- Every sheet perforated along the top or the left edge, whichever you choose.
- Sequential numbering included: give us the starting number, or choose plain.
Fitting the layout to A6
Keep it to what you write every time. Your name and phone number across the top, two or three lines for the goods or service, a total box and a date. Leave out anything you would only fill in once a month, because on A6 every line costs space.
Turnaround, delivery and VAT
Printed and dispatched in 3 to 4 working days after you approve the proof. Free delivery anywhere in Ireland, north and south, on every order. Prices are ex VAT; VAT at 23% is added at the checkout. What is A6 used for?
Receipts and small invoices written in seconds: a stall, a taxi, a delivery round, club subscriptions, a market pitch. Anywhere a full invoice form would be more than the job needs.
How much fits on an A6 page?
Your header, two or three lines of description, a total and a date. It is a receipt form rather than an itemised invoice; for a full invoice, look at A5.
Can I have A6 books numbered?
Yes, and it is included in the price. Give us the starting number and each set is printed in sequence, on every copy.
Is there a minimum order for A6 books?
The smallest quantity is shown in the quantity list on this page. The price per book falls as the quantity rises.
How long do A6 books take?
A proof within a working day, printed and dispatched 3 to 4 working days after you approve it, and delivered free anywhere in Ireland.

A print ready PDF is best. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, PNG and DOCX files up to 50 MB through the upload box on this page; anything larger can be emailed to sales@discoverprint.ie with your order number.
- Leave 20mm clear along the binding edge (the top or the left, whichever you chose for the perforation). Nothing printed there survives the tear off.
- Keep text and logos at least 5mm from the other three edges.
- Supply artwork at 300dpi. Logos as vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) print sharpest.
- No artwork? Choose the free design option and tell us what to include: your logo, address, phone, email, VAT number and bank details are the usual set. Our designer sets it out and emails a proof.
Nothing is printed until you approve the proof, whether you sent the artwork or we drew it.
